It can be lonely at the top, but it doesn’t have to be.

We know leaders limit their potential when they lead from isolation. But, when surrounded by trusted advisors with a common goal and a biblical worldview, they can maximize performance and energize cultures. With faith as the foundation, this powerful group of peers meet in an exclusive, confidential forums in Naples, Ft. Myers, and Bradenton to have their questions answered and their answers questioned.

SETH WIEPKING

Seth comes to C12 with a vocational background that fits right in with the C12 Chair model. The first half of his professional career was spent serving as a youth, college, and young adults pastor. He was on staff with multiple Presbyterian Churches and also worked with The Navigators, who focus on 1:1 discipleship. During these professional years, he was able to pioneer new ministries along with build upon established ministries that needed some revitalization. Seth also received his Master’s of Divinity Degree from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando. After this season, an opportunity developed to work in the marketplace in the banking industry. He rose through the ranks quickly and began to manage 50-million-dollar branches with multiple regional banks, overseeing all of their deposit and loan growth. In his role as a banking VP, Seth was able to walk shoulder-to-shoulder with owners and CEOs to help guide them in making business decisions that would put their business in a position to flourish. The experiences and knowledge he gained working in the marketplace were invaluable in understanding how to see work as ministry. You might sum up Seth’s professional journey before joining C12 as going from being a Minister to being a Minister of Finance! Seth is an avid sports fan and loves to jog. He played football and baseball at the University of Central Florida before transferring to Ashland University in Ohio to complete his undergraduate studies. Born in Columbus, Ohio, you can find him rooting for the Ohio State Buckeyes in addition to cheering on his alma mater, the UCF Knights, . He has taken advantage of living on the west coast of Florida by becoming a certified scuba diver and spearfishing enthusiast. He considers it an absolute honor to now be partnering with business owners and CEOs to help them build great businesses for a greater purpose! Seth has learned two primary lessons about the Lord as he looks back at the paths that led him to his C12 Chair role: that He is faithful and He will direct our steps for His Glory!

JAMIE SHEDDEN

Jamie is a Southwest Florida native, raised in a loving Christian home with Parents that were active in their Church and owned a construction business. Jamie learned a strong work ethic as a child that carried on into his later career as a small business owner and an industry leader in a mission based social enterprise. Today, Jamie has been in leadership for more than 30 years, beginning as the manager of a Christian Bookstore in July of 1991. In 1993 Jamie purchased the store, renamed it Heavenbound Books, Music and More and operated the store for 12 years. During this time, Jamie was awarded a top five position of Christian Bookstore Managers in the United States. In 2005, Jamie sold Heavenbound and went to work with a Southwest Florida Mission St. Matthew’s House, as the manager of their one thrift store. Over the next 17 years Jamie grew the St. Matthew’s House thrift operation from one store with annual gross sales of less than $500,000 to seven stores with annual gross sales exceeding $10,000,000. The revenue generated by these stores pay 100% of the administrative expenses at St. Matthew’s House. The thrift stores are widely regarded as the best thrift stores in the United States. In 2013, Jamie became a member of C12 as a Key Player. Over the next eight years Jamie’s passion for leadership and team building increased greatly. Already having a studious mind set from 12 years in the Christian bookstore market Jamie thrived on the material provided by C12 and the input from the rest of the members around the C12 table. In 2021 Jamie and his wife Mila felt God’s call for him to pursue a chair position with C12 of Southwest Florida. Jamie leaves in place what he believes is the finest team of leaders ever assembled; men and women of integrity with the high calling of building a successful business with a greater purpose. When Jamie isn’t involved in business, he loves to spend time with the love of his life, Mila, their four children, and their church family. As a young man Jamie played guitar in several Christian bands doing street ministry. This experience solidified Jamie’s love for mission work.

“C12 is everything I was looking for and more of what I didn’t know I needed. My peers challenge me in my blind spots, love me in hard times, and encourage me to glorify God in the way I lead my team. It’s a home for business leaders.”
